Description
Bodega Caelum is named after a small constellation that can be seen in the Southern sky which represents a chisel, the sculptor’s tool. As the chisel is to a sculptor, the hands are to the winemakers. Caelum is a family-run boutique winery producing wine with 100% estate grown Argentinian grapes. First harvested in 2009, the vineyards are located 1000 metres above sea level at the foot of the Andes Mountains, and next to a small farm growing pistachios.
Intense ruby colour with dark red hues. It presents aromas of ripened fruits and spicy notes such as black pepper. Characterised by its wide entry and remarkable structure, good acidity and firm tannins. For some fun – taste it alongside the Caelum Malbec – and let us know which one you prefer!
Serves at: 14-15°C
Food matches: Try with stuffed portobello mushrooms and goats cheese.
