Wine tastings are always engaging and impressive whether it is for company entertainment or a personal event. Bespoke tastings are a passion at Waud Wines, we host large group tastings through to small wine dinners, organised all over London and the South East for companies and private clients; it is our speciality.
We have access to some of London’s most prestigious venues and restaurants combined with the knowledge and insight of winemakers, suppliers and expert Waud Wines staff. We can host events with you at your offices, or we have a range of venues around London that we regularly work with, such as Caprice Holdings, Gordon Ramsay Group, 67 Pall Mall, Hightimber Restaurant, as well as the Boot and Flogger Wine Bar near London Bridge – we have many options at a variety of price points.
Wine tasting should be both fun and informative. To get the party started, we typically open the event with a couple of glasses of fizz per person to wake up the taste buds and ensure your guests are well-mixed and relaxed for the evening ahead. Choose from magnums of Mas de Daumas Gassac Sparkling Rosé, an English Sparkling from Rathfinny, or treat your guests to our house Champagne.
Once the evening is up and running we can provide a wide range of wines to showcase depending on your preference, taste and budget. A standard wine-tasting evening will often have a theme, such as France versus Spain, which will include two white wines and two red wines, followed by a blind wine-tasting competition.
If we are hosting the event at a venue, then we can include a range of canapés, bowl food, or a more formal sit-down dinner. The choice is yours.
From £30 a head…
Our wine events are bespoke, but to give you an idea of outline costings, our wine flights start from £30 per head and the hosting fees are as below based on the number of attendees.
If we are at an external venue, canapés, bowl food or a more formal sit-down meal will be priced separately.
