Thank you for organising such a wonderful wine tour of Tuscany.
I have done a few visits to the great vineyards of Europe but you took it to a new level by some way. A quite brilliant selection of notable vineyards, all without exception, welcoming us with typical Italian hospitality. It was quite something to experience wine makers of many generations such as the Mazzei family with their 600 years of history.
The hotels were outstanding and I will certainly be re visiting the Castello Bonario and the Borgo on a future car tour.
Surely the lunch at San Vicenzo following the wine tasting with our host Emilio Falsini was one of the great epics. A beautiful setting by the sea, superb cuisine with excellent wines. One can only say that my cup, well and truly runneth over.
The icing on the cake being the wonderful company and friendship of everybody on the trip. Funbuses were certainly fun and all our thanks go to our patient and excellent drivers for delivering us safely each day.
For anybody thinking of whether or not they join the next tour, don’t hesitate as the water is well and truly warm.
