Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, 30% new oak. The oak creates a fuller mouthfeel and yet enables the pure fruit flavours of honeyed melon and apple to come through. All of this however is underpinned by fresh acidity. On the nose, fresh ginger, citrus, floral blossom and quince aromas combine flawlessly.
Food matches: Pairs brilliantly with seafood.
