We are pleased to present our new and exciting Members’ Selection wines that have been exclusively chosen for Waud Wine Club members. These are intended to offer great value as very enjoyable day to day drinking wines for our members and their friends, we hope that you will always want to have a case or two available in the wine rack to whip open at short notice.
We have worked with Samuel Guibert at the highly acclaimed Mas de Daumas Gassac winery in the Languedoc to produce a Red and a White variety, we hope you will agree that both wines are fruity, well structured, and worthy of our Waud Wines stamp of approval.
Our Members’ Selection Red is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blend. An easy drinking, yet rustic wine that shows ripe blackcurrants and other dark fruit on the palate with aromas of nut and vanilla. This red is well-rounded and warm with silky tannins underpinned with toasty nuances. It has good structure and balance, with very marked tannins.
Food matches: A great year-round wine, whether it is for the barbecue season or casual suppers in the Autumn and Winter periods.
