Description
Trinity Hill’s Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is an excellent representation of a classic New Zealand Sauvignon. It has a pale yellow-green hue in the glass and explodes with aromas of passionfruit, lime, green apple, and elderflower. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with juicy acidity and a delicious fruit-driven intensity. Its beautifully balanced and elegant finish leaves a lasting impression of ripe gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours.
In 1993, having recognised the outstanding potential of the Hawke’s Bay’s Gimblett Gravels winegrowing district, Trinity Hill became one of the region’s early pioneers, planting grapevines on a barren plot which continues to produce exceptional wines today. Trinity Hill craft food friendly wines from the classic varieties Hawke’s Bay has become internationally recognised for (Syrah, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), as well as several varieties that the region is lesser known for, such Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. They even have some plantings of Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Francesa, which are barely seen elsewhere in NZ.
Food Pairing: Perfect on its own or paired with fresh seafood, salads, and grilled vegetables.
