Description
Rapaura Springs Bull Paddock Sauvignon Blanc displays vibrant aromas of passionfruit, guava and tropical fruit that follow through to the palate. These intense fruit flavours are complemented by an intriguing saline minerality and vibrant acidity.
Rapaura Springs (pronounced Ra-para) is a unique oasis in the dry Marlborough landscape with natural underground springs providing a life source for the vines. This pure water enables the vineyards to produce outstanding fruit with minimal intervention. The vineyard is owned and operated by two Kiwi families – the Neylons and the Wiffins – with their connection to the area running deep. In the early eighties, the Neylons were the first family to grow, process and export green lipped mussels. Then in 1985, they bought prime vineyard land and joined forces with the Wiffins to grow orchard fruits before establishing a grapevine nursery. Since then, Rapaura Springs have put in years of hard graft and given all they’ve got to build their vineyards from the ground up, producing authentic and high quality wines.
