Description
Quinta de Lemos produces precious Dão wines from grapevines nurtured by patient and loving hands. Located near Viseu, the regional capital, full of charm and with a medieval heart, the Quinta is set on the plateau of Beira Alta at an altitude of 340 m. In this green haven in the center of Portugal, the Quinta consists of 25 ha of vineyards surrounded by olive trees, orchards, and woods. The granite and sandy soils of the Dão valley are well protected by four big mountains, shielded from the harsh extremes of a continental climate and the humid Atlantic influences. To honor the native region, Quinta de Lemos creates exclusive wines, made of indigenous Dão grape varieties.
A floral bouquet, structured and well-balanced on the palate. Vibrant and fresh on the nose with minty, herbaceous notes and a touch of oak. Persistent, with a fresh finish.
