Description

Château Puech-Haut is a secret star of Languedoc near the region of Pic-St-Loup, founded by Gerard Bru. Located 20 kilometres North East of Montpellier, the terroir of Puech-Haut extends over 250 hectares for a difference in height oscillating between 50 and 150 meters above sea level. The combination of the Mediterranean climate and mixture of clay and limestone soils topped with galet pebbles, help create a truly impressive range of superb value French Country wines.

On the nose, hints of almond, herbs and golden apple come together while notes of white peach, honeyed orange, caramelised currants and white flowers blend together on the palate. The palate is full-bodied and fresh, which balances the crisp yet long-lasting finish by hints of tannin and white pepper.

Serves at: 10-13°C

Food matches: Perfect with a creamy chicken dish or a seafood paella.
