Puech Haut – La 40 ème Saint-Drézéry 2017 is one of the brilliant dry red wines from this famed vineyard in Southern France.

Château Puech-Haut is a secret star of Languedoc near the region of Pic-St-Loup, founded by Gerard Bru. Located 20 kilometres North East of Montpellier, the terroir of Puech-Haut extends over 250 hectares for a difference in height oscillating between 50 and 150 meters above sea level. The combination of the Mediterranean climate and mixture of clay and limestone soils topped with galet pebbles, help create a truly impressive range of superb value French Country wines.

Cherry red in colour. Intense aromas of ripe red fruits and toasty notes. Balanced and powerful, the wine unveils aromas of small black fruit tinted with a touch of liquorice.

Food matches: Well matured steak, lamb and mushrooms.
