Description
Part of the organic range from Producteurs Plaimont, Plaimont Les Trois Fontaines Blanc is an intensely fresh and fruity wine dominated by yellow and white fruit aromas with notes of citrus fruit (grapefruit) and passion fruit. The mouth is firm and lively yet fruity, quaffable and full of the same aromas as the nose with the addition of a floral touch and a crisp, lemony finish.
Located in the heart of south west France, the Plaimont vineyards stretch out over a uniquely rich terroir from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the rolling hills of Gascony. Founded in the 1970s when André Dubosc – a third-generation wine grower – set out to build up the reputation of the wines from their region of South-West France, many other passionate young winegrowers and smaller wineries joined the cooperative to support its development. From the outset, Plaimont acquired the region’s finest châteaux and estates to rebuild iconic vineyards and give a new impetus to the region.
