Description
Experienced winemakers, the Blanco Nuñez brothers’, bought 35 hectares of vineyards in Pazos, near the Portuguese border. Galicia has a “cool climate” for Spain however summer temperatures are often at 30°C. The Godello grapes flourish in this warmer temperature, inland from the Atlantic coast, giving a fantastic quality and individuality to other Spanish whites. These grapes are comparable to zesty Chardonnay with further roundness and freshness.
The Pazo de Marinan Blanco is a lovely blend of the traditional grapes of Galicia. The nose delivers aromas of apricot, plum and grape. The palate is exceptionally fresh and full-bodied with notes of peach, and more complex nuances of honey and citrus. The finish is smooth and long and leaves you wanting more!
