Founded in 1952, named after the legendary Porto matriarch Dona Antónia Ferreira. With 520 hectares of vineyards, the grapes for Papa Figos Branco are carefully selected from plots at around 600 metres in altitude. These sites are perfectly suited for optimum maturation with warm days and cool evenings drawing out the fresh fruit of the grapes. This wine is lemon yellow in colour with golden hues. It is very aromatic with powerful floral notes, ripe tropical fruit and hints of herbs. The palate is extremely well-structured with delicate minerality and a long, enduring finish. An impeccable Portuguese white!
Enjoy this wine as an aperitif or with pan-fried seabass, scallops or octopus.
