Description
Best decanted 2 hours before tasting, Moulin de Gassac Albaran is expressive and complex. You will enjoy touches of ripe blackcurrants and fruit on the palate and aromas of nut and vanilla. This red is well-rounded and warm with silky tannins underpinned with toasty nuances. Good structure and balance, with very marked tannins. Virile, rustic character, thoroughly agreeable.
The Moulin de Gassac label was created in the early 90s by the father and founder of Mas de Daumas Gassac, Aimé Guibert. As a result of his discovery of the exceptional amphitheatre site of Villeveyrac, an unusual partnership was born. Following the introduction of the vine pulling-up premium, he began a to work with the vine growers in this area with a view to saving its plots. The Moulin de Gassac Selection played a decisive role in preventing the disappearance of this terroir. Thereafter, Mas de Daumas Gassac confirmed the wines’ unique identity with their own signature: Moulin de Gassac.
