Description

Marc Brédif Vouvray Classic undergoes temperature controlled fermentation to retain its fresh structure and aromatic finish and is then matured on its lees for a further 6 months. Pale gold color with green reflections. Intense nose with notes of yellow fruits such as pear and apricot. Some hints of lemon and amyl reminiscent of banana. On swirling, notes of citrus and exotic fruits. Fresh attack presenting a good balance between sweetness and acidity. A nice length on aromas of exotic fruits like pineapple.

With its majestic cellars in the heart of the Touraine, Marc Brédif has been one of the most famous Vouvray and Chinon houses since 1893. When Baron de Ladoucette took over the house in 1980, he breathed new life into the century old winery, while preserving its traditions. Today, Marc Brédif continues to produce Vouvray and Chinon wines of the finest quality.

Food pairing: creamy pork or chicken dishes, or pastas with fish or vegetables.
