Little Beauty Riesling is pale straw coloured. The aromas are delicate; orange blossom, citrusy and mineral (flinty). Hints of bottle age characteristics; lanolin, beeswax, lemon zest. A sense of purity. The palate is pretty and refreshing. There’s the trademark citrus notes (limes and mandarins) combined with oyster shell & slate. There’s a honeyed note too. The style is verging on Germanic and with the very low pH intriguing fruit flavours. This wine will continue to cellar well and age gracefully.
