Description
Kim Crawford’s Marlborough Sauvignon is a refreshing and aromatic white that originates from New Zealand’s most renowned wine region for this variety. A brilliant and lively taste of citrus with hints of passionfruit and guava on the palate, followed by a crisp acidity and a wonderfully clean finish.
Launched in Auckland in 1996, today the vineyards of Kim Crawford are located all over the country – from the very northern tip, all the way down to the southern coast. Most vineyards are found along the coastline and benefit from long days and cool evenings. The long autumn season also promotes the slowly ripening of the grapes, adding more depth of flavour, aroma intensity, and character to the wines. Marlborough is the spiritual home of Sauvignon Blanc in the southern hemisphere and this is a great example of the wines from this famed region.
Food Pairing: Best served well-chilled and paired with dishes such as seafood, salads and grilled vegetables.
