Since the 2008 vintage, all Chablis that comes from Joseph Drouhin must also carry the name Vaudon, which comes from an old water mill on the river Serein that is owned by the family. The grapes for this Chablis come from a 6-hectare plot on the right bank of the Vauvilien Valley that is sandwiched between the Premier Cru vineyards of ‘Mont de Milieu’ and ‘Montee de Tonnerre’.
Aromatic nose of lemon zest, green apple, and white flowers. Well-balanced, fresh and clean on the palate with crisp acidity leading into more citrus fruit on the core and a steely, mineral finish. Intense finish. Drink 2018-2021.
