A few kilometers south of Beaune, in the celebrated terroir of Côte des Blancs (Slope of the Whites). The wines from the Côte d’Or had excellent levels of maturity and good sugar/acid balance. Fermentation lasted 3 weeks during which lees stirring and very gentle oak ageing took place.
A refined wine, which is well appreciated in the whole world. A beautiful golden colour, with a fresh and aromatic palate, delivering peach, honey, lemon cake, floral, hazelnut and spiced notes and nuances of chamomile. The palate gives a harmonious, silky roundness. The finish is exceptionally long with flavours of yellow plum and gingerbread. Ready to enjoy now, but well develop well. Drink now through to 2025.
