Description
Made from the Vermentino grape, the Massovivo 2022 is fermented in stainless steel tanks and spends time on the lees before bottling. It is a beautiful straw-yellow in appearance, the nose is aromatic with notes of exotic pineapple and mango with subtle hints of citrus and wildflower. The palate is well-rounded with fresh notes of Mediterranean herb. There is great balance in this wine.
In the heart of the Maremma on the Tuscan coast, the Tenuta Ammiraglia Estate lies on land warmed by the sun, with temperatures that are mitigated by sea breezes from the nearby Tyrrhenian. A place of unquestionable natural beauty, but also architectural delight, with cellars designed by Piero Sartogo and Nathalie Grenon and a building that merges into its surroundings. The vineyards are planted to Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah, and from these they produce two rosés, a Bordeaux-blend red, and a white from Vermentino. The estate is owned and run by Tuscan powerhouse, Frescobaldi.
