A light-bodied white wine
White-fruit aromas and a prickly scent of cactus or nettle open this tight, citrusy old-vines Verdejo. Matching the aromas, this tastes of pithy citrus, grapefruit and green herbs. A racy finish fades out nicely.
Serves at: 8-12˚C
Verdejo is an uncommon, light-bodied white wine that grows almost exclusively in Spain. The wine is an outstanding alternative to wines like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, with surprising changes in flavours coming with age.
Smoked dishes, sushi, white meat, fish rice, baked white fish, grilled seafood, alone and aperitif.
