An excellent wine from Bodegas Emilio Moro, in Ribera del Duero which honours the historic vineyard planted in 1932 (the year in which Emilio Moro was born). The wine is held in American oak barrels for 4 months, adding a delicate touch of toasted notes. Cherry red in colour with purple hues. The nose provides delightful aromas of black fruit, vanilla and balsamic. The palate is remarkably juicy with concentrated dark berry fruit. The fruit is perfectly balanced by refined tannins and subtle spiced notes. Wonderfully silky finish.
Food matches: Pair with red meat with a light chilli sauce, grilled vegetables and salad. Also perfect with risottos.
