Description
An unusual sweet red wine produced by the extraordinary Didier Barré, who has assembled this stunning dessert wine solely from Tannat grapes. Using a process similar to that deployed in port production, the alcohol is imported from Bordeaux and is added at the last stage of production to a wine which then maintains its high intensity and sugar levels, but at 17% alcohol – save this wine for a special occasion.
Food matches: Dark chocolate desserts, chocolate fondant or summer pudding all work well.
