Description
Dog Point is one of the earliest private vineyards established in the Wairau Valley and has some of the oldest vines, and the estate has six different Pinot Noir clones from vines dating back to 1983. The 2017 Pinot Noir was hand-harvested and aged in (40% new) French oak barrels for 18 months.
Dark stone fruits and spice aromas. Rich and concentrated in the mouth with lashings of red and dark fruit, a layer of dried herbs and floral notes, and fine-grained tannins.
