Description
Spending 4 months in French oak, Albariño is at the forefront showcasing typical freshness and stone fruit character, developing into the rich honeydew melon, aromatic herbs, and warm spice of Garnacha Blanca, scented with white flowers and brioche.
The first white wine ever made at Clos Pons, Sisquella is a tribute to Les Garrigues named after an abandoned ancient settlement near L’Albagés where its 6 hectares of organic vineyards are located. The perfect harmony of Mediterranean and Atlantic influence.
Intense in flavour yet light in body, we would pair this with baked rice, smoked and roasted fish, tomato pasta, goat’s cheese, shellfish, caviar, and roasted vegetables.
