Clos Pons Roc Nu is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon. The best organically farmed plots of these estates create the grapes that will serve as a base of production for this wine.
Powerful, complex, intense and concentrated but with silky lively aromas, Clos Pons Roc Nu has hints of ripe fruit, jams, a toasty and aniseed flavour, and a long aftertaste. The finish is round and big with strong acidity and extremly long persistence.
The best organic plots of our vineyards produce the fruit that, selected in the same vine, will be the basis for this wine.
Grown in North East Spain’s Catalonian district, north of Barcelona. The ‘Les Garrigues’ sub district of the region where this is produced has high temperatures and low rainfall.
Food matches: Chicken marsala with pancetta & cream, or seafood paella.
