Description
Hand-harvested Syrah is picked at maximum ripeness and fermented in small vats with frequent punch-downs to retain balance. Aged for 12 months in barrel, Pla Del Tet 2020 is unctuous and savoury on the palate with notes of black olives, rich dark fruits, and a pronounced peppery finish. The nose follows suit with nuances of bitumen and herbs to compliment.
The first release of the Clos Pons Collection Wines, Pla Del Tet 2020 is limited-production, with only 2,785 bottles produced. A little over one hectare of organic old vine Syrah is cultivated at the Pla Del Tet estate, sheltered in the foothills of Serra de la Llena mountain range this hidden gem is 680 meters above sea level.
Ideal to pair with a robust stew, red meats and game, charcuterie or cured cheese.
