Madiran is a region that the Waud Wine Club has become closely acquainted with; here we have found another little beauty from Phillipe and Chantal Murr.
Chantal and Phillipe created the estate in 1998, when they acquired their Basté house, in ruins at the time, and some plots of old vines on very good soils. Today, they have 10 hectares of vineyards on the best soils in the appellation, on which we implement certified organic winegrowing practices.
A great deal of work has gone on in the vineyards and small yields (30 to 35 Hl / Ha) give high quality, perfectly ripe grapes that are then hand-picked. They intervene as little as possible in the cellar, aiming to draw out the greatest potential of the grapes and allow the identity of the land to transpire.
