Description
Château Sénéjac is a dry red wine from the Haut-Médoc appellation in Bordeaux – that is classically easy drinking and gives you a very good opportunity to explore what Bordeaux red wines are all about.
Another classic blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot – this is certainly one for the cellar, that does work for near term drinking too.
Neal Martin from Vinous awards this wine 88-91 points and comments: "The 2019 Sénéjac offers juicy ripe mulberry and raspberry scents on the nose, traces of tobacco coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins and pretty red fruit. I would have liked more grip and body on the saline finish. Elegant though. Drink 2024-2040.”
