Description
In 2009, Cabernet Sauvignon flourished resulting in in a beautifully structured, memorable Musar. As a result, the 2009 shows plenty of cassis, blackcurrants and dark chocolate. The vintage displays a beautiful earthiness, more akin to a Pessac style smoke and toast than in normal years. This offers an attractive depth and combined with the balanced and integrated tannin promises a superb age worthy Musar. The finish offers damson, cherry and dried fig, with a touch of sweet spice. The wine has undergone seven years in barrel and bottle, with blending taking place in 2012.
