Description

Château La Tuilerie du Puy Tradition is a classic Bordeaux red. Bordeaux reds, also known as Claret, have become very popular over the years – and this is one of the easiest drinking wines on the circuit.

Deep ruby red in colour. The nose is expressive with aromas of black fruit and nuances of spiced notes. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, reflecting the concentration Deep robe with intense red. Nose of black fruits and smooth spices. The mouth is marked by the expression of its fruit. Tannins are silky and pleasant with a long finish.

This wine comes from the family-owned property of Château La Tuilerie du Puy. The family have been there since 1616 and are established in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, surrounded by the Dropt River for more than three generations. The Waud Wine Club have long links back with the estate as we visited there on our Tour du Vin in 2012. The latest generation at Château La Tuilerie du Puy took over in 1996, with our friend Michael Regaud. As you would expect, he has a great passion for wine, the same love of travels, and still this pioneering spirit that characterizes the family. After working with wine in California, Michael brings his international experience to the family estate.
