Description
Château La Tuilerie du Puy “Le Vintage” is Intense and deep red in colour with purple reflections. A nose with great complexity of spices and violets on a background of candied raspberries. On the palate, a combination of structure and velvet with a spicy finish and a slight licorice taste. Really enjoyable indeed.
This wine comes from the family-owned property of Château La Tuilerie du Puy. The family have been there since 1616 and are established in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, surrounded by the Dropt River for more than three generations. The Waud Wine Club have long links back with the estate as we visited there on our Tour du Vin in 2012. The latest generation at Château La Tuilerie du Puy took over in 1996, with our friend Michael Regaud. As you would expect, he has a great passion for wine, the same love of travels, and still this pioneering spirit that characterizes the family. After working with wine in California, Michael brings his international experience to the family estate.
