Description
The origins of the mythical Château de Meursault go back to the 11th century. Today, this domaine extends over 60 hectares of vines of Volnay, Beaune, Pommard, Aloxe Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, with many premier and grand crus. it has been owned by the Halley family since 2012.
Very ‘limestone’ and chalky. Intense and serious Volnay with its habitual dark, tight-knit berry profile. Svelte bramble and black cherry fruit with a chalky tannic structure. Rich yet tight and with a great lift that comes from a strong minerality lying at the core of this wine.
