Description
Château de Fieuzal Pessac-Léognan from the Left Bank of Bordeaux has been a terrific find for us. The 2018 vintage was a great year for Château de Fieuzal – and using a fabulous selection of grape varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%), this is certainly a wine that can be enjoyed young, but also has a fabulous aging capacity.
This wine is very nice indeed, with a gorgeous nose of dark fruit, in particular blackcurrant. With subtle notes of oak and leather. A wine that clearly has great balance, medium to long finish with elegant and fresh tannins. Certainly a wine that you should have in your cellar.
