Description
Chateau Cantemerle is one of the most stunning chateau in the Médoc on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. It is located in the very South of Bordeaux, very close to the edge of the city of Bordeaux.
The estate of Cantemerle has 94 hectares of vineyards, planted with the classic Left Bank blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. There is a consistent formula here – the top wine undergoes 12 months’ ageing in French oak, of which 40% is new French oak.
Cantemerle is a 5th growth, making around 400,000 bottles each year.
