Description
Château Branaire-Ducru is one of the rising stars of Saint-Julien on the Left Bank in Bordeaux. Surrounded by some of the biggest names in wine, this 60 hectare estate has beautiful gravel siliceous alluvial soils. Duluc is the second wine here and offers surprising value. The 2018 Duluc de Branaire-Ducru comprises a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (39%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petit Verdot (1%).
Deep and intense in colour, with an expressive and complex nose of fruit and spice. A beautiful round palate with a long, pleasant and persistent finish. A very nice dry red wine indeed.
