Description
Château Beaumont 2019 has an intense colour, ranging from ruby ??to garnet. The nose delivers notes of black fruit notes with cassis and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic fragrances that vary between vanilla and roasting. The young reds are full-bodied, marked by a hint of oak and hints of sweet spices. After a few years of aging, the tannins melt.
Located between Saint-Julien and Margaux, Château Beaumont is a member of the "Union des Grands Crus" and "Alliance des Crus Bourgeois". Something of a model in its combination of modern techniques with Médoc tradition, Château Beaumont obtained certification of its compliance with "Terra Vitis" specifications in 2004 as well as the right to use the "planned management" label, proof of its commitment to environmentally friendly viticultural methods. Eric Boissenot consults at Château Beaumont, one of the larger Cru Bourgeois, with 113 hectares in a single block, the vines averaging twenty years of age. Wines spend 12 to 14 months in oak barrels, one-third of them renewed each year.
