A medium-bodied red wine.
93% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 2% Garnacha
A medium-depth lively red colour and red edging. On the nose it is intense and very fruity, predominantly you will note the fresh cherry, raspberry and some peach notes. On the palate, it is of medium body with a fine and silky tannin. Bodegas Roda Sela 2014 is very expressive and fruity, highlighting the fruits that previously appeared on the nose, the cherry and the raspberry. Very friendly and fresh. Well balanced and easy to drink. Long and very pleasant, feeling in the mouthfeel the fresh fruit. Delicate and very pleasant wine, ideal for drinking by glass and for pairing with the first part of the meal.
From the fabulous Bodegas Roda, Sela is their ‘entry’ wine. The 2014 vintage was not easy of which the experience in viticulture has a special value. It was a year with a warm and rainy September where the selection of the grapes was essential. The effort in the vineyard had the well-deserved fruit and it is precisely the clean and fresh fruit which marks the character of this wine.
Serve with succulent medium- rare steaks and hearty vegetables.
