Description
Auvigue’s Pouilly-Fuissé is a shining example of elegance and balance. Made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Fuissé, Solutré, Pouilly, and Chaintré, the vines are rooted in clay-limestone and flint soils, lending the wine its signature minerality. This carefully crafted cuvée combines freshness and complexity, aged in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels, some of which are new. It opens with inviting aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, and vineyard peach, enhanced by a gentle touch of oak. On the palate, it’s round and rich yet vibrant, with a mineral tension that carries through to a lingering finish of toasted hazelnuts and subtle wood spice.
