Kent is famously known as the Garden of England, its mild south facing climate and chalky soils provide optimal growing conditions for cultivating grapes, and in particular, sparkling wines as soils are similar to those of the Champagne region of France.

Kent is now home to over 50 vineyards – many of which enjoy an internationally acclaimed status for top-quality wines in the UK, such as Chapel Down and Hush Heath Estate.
