Garnacha, native to Spain, is the country’s second most widely planted red varietal. Solpo is made from Garnacha Tintorera – a type of Grenache that is most commonly found in southern Spain. To the eye it sees a medium core and light edges, cherry-hued and on the palate finely integrated tannins, a bright acidity that is punchy, and a medium weighted body. Brambly berries with light peppery notes. Sandy soil or desert-like earthiness and dried herbs give a rustic touch. Dry, smooth texture and a lengthy finish. We have let the wine age for you and is perfect to drink straight away.
