One of the highlights of the Tour du Vin to Portugal in September, Quinta Da Falorca came highly recommended and it certainly did not disappoint. The Dão region is considered to be one of the best regions in Portugal for producing red table wine.
When Jancis Robinson tried this wine, she commented:
“Massive wine, concentrated with excellent quality of fine tannins. Aromas of violet, with well-integrated wood that supports the muscular texture, but very balanced by acidity. In the mouth has class and strength, but with soft and silky tannins.”
