Moulin de Gassac – Picpoul de Pinet 2015 is now back in stock as we continue our fantastic relationship with Mas de Daumas Gassac in Languedoc, France.
From their Moulin de Gassac range – Picpoul de Pinet, a staple Languedoc white wine that is a lovely pale gold in colour. A fresh, crisp nose with a hint of yellow flowers. On the palate, this wine is very fresh with great balance. You will notice a fairly full finish, fleshy yet fresh that ends deliciously with long acidity. The combination of the elegant nose and subtle palate which is classically restrained and fashionably austere makes this a very enjoyable wine for the spring and summer months.
Best served between 9 and 11 degrees, this wine can be enjoyed with fish, shellfish and a selection of salads.
Samuel Guibert, owner and CEO of Mas de Daumas Gassac is most famous for their Grand Cru wines – however, the same love and attention go into making their Moulin range, especially with this Picpoul de Pinet, that is a fantastic offering for the beginning of Spring.
