We are delighted to announce our expansion with the acquisition of Handford Wines into the Waud Wines family of businesses.
James Handford MW will continue to run Handford Wines with his old team supported by the Waud Wines experience, infrastructure and staff.
James Handford has been operating Handford Wines from its current location at 105 Old Brompton Road in London’s South Kensington area for over fifteen years.
Handford Wines has an excellent team of shop and support staff who pride themselves on their friendly customer service and the exciting array of wines on sale from £10.00 to £5,000.00 per bottle. Included in the selection of fine old and new-world wines is a fabulous selection of Burgundy, this being a speciality of Handford Wines.
The shop is currently being refurbished to accommodate the wider array of wines that will be offered and to allow more tasting opportunities for our customers in a convivial setting.

Waud Wines Ltd is a privately owned group of wine and wine related businesses covering private client wine sales, investment wine sales, trade sales, corporate wine tasting and gifting, wine tours and wine club. This is now complimented by the addition of Handford Wines. Its current expansion activity should see it achieving sales of around £5 million per annum.
