Cricket World Cup and Rugby World Cup Wine Tasting
We are delighted to invite you to join us for a wonderful evening of fine wine and fun to raise funds for John Simpson’s Testimonial year at Middlesex County Cricket Club.
We have hired out the exclusive ‘Loft’ on the top floor at The Ivy Club, Soho, for this Australia versus England wine tasting, served alongside extensive gourmet canapés and of course fine company.
England and Ashes legend, Angus Fraser will be in attendance – and hopefully involved in a Q&A with John. On the rugby side, England and Leicester stalwart George Chuter will be compare.
We will be serving some of our favourite Australian wines – including Torbreck and Shaw & Smith from Barossa Valley, then Kilikanoon from Clare Valley. These will be combated by some of our great English Fizz and White wines from Rathfinny and Chapel Down.
Please do join us to support John Simpson in his testimonial year. He was the Middlesex top scorer with the bat in 2022 – and claimed 48 dismissals at wicket keeper too.
